Grinding / Deburring Operator (Night Shift)

Starting Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

As a Grinding / Deburring Operator, you'll play an important role in producing high-quality sheet metal components by:

• Performing deburring operations using handheld and bench grinders
• Removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal parts
• Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
• Using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify specifications
• Following established safety procedures and company standards
• Maintaining grinding equipment and keeping work areas clean
• Collaborating with teammates to achieve production goals
• Supporting additional manufacturing tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous grinding, deburring, or sheet metal experience preferred
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and metal fabrication processes
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow within the department

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand throughout the shift
• Frequent use of hands and arms
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses

• Apron
• Steel-toed footwear
• Safety belt when required

This position operates in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to:

• Metal dust and fumes
• Machinery and moving equipment
