AP Lead

:

What you'll do:

• Monitor AP Staff workload
• Facilitate reconciliations of multiple accounts, report on aging status
• Identify training opportunities
• Identify areas to gain efficiencies
• Ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors
• Note payable management and amortization maintenance
• Collaborate with other departments and team leaders
• Fixed asset record keeping
• Research and identify errors
• Submit disbursement logs to the bank
• Maintain records and file 1099's
• Maintain vendors and suppliers in database
• Sales Tax Processing

What we're looking for:

• Accounting/AR/AP experience (automotive dealership preferred but not required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent, Accounting degree (preferred, not required)
• Ability to motivate team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Must have expertise in Excel, reporting and general ledger experience
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values in all interactions with customers and co-workers
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills
