About the Role:
In a home care agency, the PCA/CNA is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who would work directly under the supervision and direction of the Service Supervisor and provides various services for the client. The majority of which would be personal care and activities of daily living. In this role, you will work with our clients in their homes, helping them with basic personal hygiene and domestic tasks as needed, according to their requirements and limitations. You will provide compassionate care and assistance and document clients’ progress to help ensure their overall wellbeing.
Sky Heart Home Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Sanford, NC. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing essential daily care and support in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking a night time caregiver from 10pm to 9am Monday-Friday and 10am-9pm Saturday -Sunday shifts. Male preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support as needed
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when required
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a PCA, CNA, HHA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred for a minimum of 1 year
• Must have at minimum, two (2) satisfactory references from previous employers. 
• Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to client well-being
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and staff
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional

Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting within guidelines and teaching provided by the state of North Carolina.
Must be able to read, follow written instructions and document the care given.
