LEO/CO Physical Ability Test (PAT) – No, not required (may be required later). PST Personal History Statement – Yes, required within 14 days of passing required exam(s). Minimum Age – 21. High School Graduate / GED – Yes. Driver’s License – Required. Felony Convictions as an Adult – Carefully reviewed on a case by case basis. Felony Convictions as a Juvenile – Carefully reviewed. Capability to Read, Speak & Write English – Yes. Vision Requirements – Correctable to 20/20. College Requirement – No. Multiple Scores from Same Applicant – Highest score within the past one year considered. Disqualifiers The following are automatic and potential disqualifiers. Applicants should not apply if they indicate any of the automatic disqualifiers. Potential disqualifiers will be considered on a case by case basis. Driving – Automatic : Applicant ineligible if they do not possess a valid driving license from state of residence and cannot qualify for Idaho license, or if they have a misdemeanor DUI within two years or two or more within five years. Drug Usage – Automatic : Ineligible for marijuana use within one year; prior controlled substance use within three years if over 18 unless age Criminal Activity – Automatic : Ineligible for past felony (if 18+), misdemeanor DUI within two years or two within five years, domestic violence misdemeanors (with firearm duty or within five years), deceit or sex offenses (within five years).
