Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement of goods through accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. Your efforts will directly contribute to seamless warehouse distribution, timely order fulfillment, and overall operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting appropriate products, packaging securely, and ensuring accurate labeling.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and manage order processing.
• Assist with order picking and packing activities to fulfill customer orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
• Manage stock levels through regular stocking activities and support inventory audits to ensure data integrity.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating load planning, scheduling shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to facilitate order fulfillment using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Support basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment documentation as needed.

Experience

• Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order picking & packing, stocking, and load & unload operations.
• Experience working within e-commerce environments or handling small parcel shipments is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
