Make and take phone calls to/from Spanish‑speaking families as needed by school personnel. Interpret during a variety of school meetings, including: report card conferences, discipline, special education IEP meetings, new student/family orientation meetings, speech and language evaluations, among others. Develop and maintain constructive and trusting relationships with families and staff. Represent the school professionally and courteously. Regularly utilize the district Google scheduling calendar for all meetings, appointments, etc. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate parent/school needs with regard to attending meetings. Qualifications Associate’s Degree or higher – preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required. Excellent verbal and written processing skills. Competent English and Spanish literacy skills. Strong written skills in another language. Good organization and time‑management skills. Ability to engage and work with others from diverse ethnic and cultural groups. Positive relational skills as evidenced by evaluations and/or references. Alternative qualifications acceptable at Superintendent’s discretion.
