We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure.Charge Registered Nurse at Wellness Avenue Surgery CenterJob Summary:The Ambulatory Surgical Services Charge Registered Nurse is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Charge Registered Nurse of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Charge Registered Nurse will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.Responsibilities:Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growthAssume responsibility of budgeting and resourcingPlan and oversee all patient care or administrative operations and programsRecruit employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnelAssign cases and create schedules for all employeesCoordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedbackProvide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous developmentEvaluate performance and discipline employees when necessaryMonitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standardsSkills:Proven experience as clinical director or other managerial positionExperience in clinical supervision and program managementSolid understanding of budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation proceduresExcellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical fieldProficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)Excellent communication and people skillsExceptional organizational and leadership skillsAptitude in resolving issues and conflictsWhat We Offer:As an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing a comprehensive benefits package that includes the following, subject to employment status:· Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage· Life and AD&D coverage· Availability of short- and long-term disability· Flexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs· 401(k) and access to retirement planning· Paid holidays and vacationRequired Skills:Graduate of accredited nursing schoolCurrent RN license in the state of FloridaProven experience as clinical director or other managerial positionExperience in clinical supervision and program management
