The Public Safety Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment by performing general safety enforcement duties. Working primarily independently during the 3rd shift, this position involves monitoring safety conditions, responding to emergencies, and interacting with the public to promote security and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and compliance
- Document incidents accurately through detailed reports
- Conduct surveillance to identify potential hazards or threats
- Manage conflicts calmly and effectively
- Engage with the public to provide assistance and promote safety awareness
- Perform routine safety inspections to prevent hazards
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in public safety roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and incident reporting
- Skills in conflict resolution and crowd control
- Proficient in surveillance and public communication
- Physically fit with strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
