Certified Surgical Technologist

Certified surgical technologists prepare and maintain the sterile environment of the operating room, assist during surgeries, and ensure patient safety. They scrub on all surgical procedures, support patient assessments, and perform circulating duties under RN supervision. Key Responsibilities Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and sterile fields. Assist surgeons with instrumentation, supplies, and specimens. Maintain OR supplies, assist with procedures, and participate in staff education and orientation. Contribute to patient care by addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. Engage in hospital activities as directed. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and BLS certification required. Experience in pediatric surgery, healthcare, or working with diverse organizational levels preferred. Proficiency in MS Office applications. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Additional Details Onsite position requiring availability for on-call, weekends, and some on-site flexibility. The role offers a sign-on bonus and involves working days from 7am to 3:30pm, with responsibilities including surgical assistance, patient care, and OR management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
