Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Big Spring, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) | 48 hours preferred; 36 hours may be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Adhere to all compliance requirements, including timely completion of required lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in-hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required at time of submission
• BLS certification required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required at time of submission
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must live more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Previous Emergency Room nursing experience
