Unit Highlights: Documentation system is Meditech. Badging in and out for shifts is required, along with a full 30-minute lunch break. Timeliness is important; clock-in time is 6:38 AM/PM, and being late is defined as clocking in after 6:45. Unit Specifics: Required procedures include chest tubes, tracheostomies, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes. Dress Code: Navy scrub top and pant, navy or white scrub jacket is required. Nails must be clean and healthy. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Attendance Policies include adherence to the floating guidelines and comprehensive unit policies. Be on time for scheduled shifts.
