Strata Critical is a national provider of time-critical logistics and clinical services to the U.S. healthcare industry. We operate one of the largest air transport and surgical services networks for hospitals, transplant centers, and organ procurement organizations, offering an integrated "one call" solution for donor organ recovery. Our core services span transplant and cardiac surgical care. We provide air and ground logistics, surgical organ recovery, organ placement and normothermic regional perfusion for the transplant industry. We also deliver perfusion staffing, equipment solutions, and clinical support for cardiovascular surgery centers across the country.

At our Logistics Headquarters, The Director of Ground Operations oversees internal and external ground services across the nation, ensuring efficient division performance, strategic operational improvements, and P&L management.

Compensation:  Competitive Total Rewards package dependent on experience

What You'll Do

• Own the ground division. Lead the division to the goals set by company leadership, with full accountability for performance, productivity, and results.
• Drive operational performance. Establish metrics and standards, analyze business procedures, and turn comprehensive data review into real process improvements.
• Manage the P&L. Plan, forecast, and control operating budgets and costs to hit financial objectives and KPIs.
• Build the infrastructure. Implement policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations and ensure every work environment is safe, adequate, and efficient for staff.
• Be present in the field. Travel to hub locations across the U.S. (approximately 25%) to meet with teams and ensure each site is running productively.
• Elevate the customer experience. Partner with the Customer Success team on inquiries and concerns, and improve satisfaction through smarter policy and process.
• Lead across the business. Collaborate with fellow leaders to integrate operations into smoother, more cost-effective workflows, and represent Strata Critical positively to employees, customers, and the broader industry.

• Business and financial acumen , with a thorough command of the practices and policies behind budgeting, cost control, and operational finance.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills , verbal and written, at every level from the field to the executive table.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail , with proficiency in Google Suite preferred or comparable software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Five years of related experience including first- and second-line leadership and P&L responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

• May include prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, walking and stair usage.
