Pharmacist in Greenbrae, CA

A Pharmacy Operations Supervisor role is available in Greenbrae, CA, offering an opportunity to lead pharmacy services within an acute care setting. This contract position starts ASAP with a duration of 13 weeks or longer, working Monday through Friday during daytime hours without weekend shifts. The role involves utilizing EPIC electronic medical records and managing various pharmacy operations to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy scheduling and workflow management to optimize operations
• Conduct policy reviews and ensure compliance with USP standards
• Provide training support on IV competencies to pharmacy staff
• Lead meetings to coordinate team activities and address operational challenges
• Utilize BD suite systems (PK, Pyxis, C2 Safe) along with Excel and Word to maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in the State of California
• Completion of education necessary for pharmacist licensure, preferably a Pharm.D. degree or graduation from an accredited school of Pharmacy
• Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited residency program or equivalent
• Minimum of two years in a leadership role within an acute care hospital pharmacy
• Strong skills in scheduling, workflow management, policy review, and team facilitation
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance and quality standards
