Job Title: RN - Med Surg

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. Performs patient assessments, administers treatments, monitors clinical status, and coordinates care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.

• 1–2 years of medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience preferred.

• Experience caring for post-surgical and medically complex patients is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

• BLS certification required.

• ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients’ conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and other prescribed interventions safely.

• Provide wound care, post-operative care, and assistance with activities of daily living as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
