Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 guaranteed hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio, serving adult and geriatric populations
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions including total joint recovery, surgical cases, ACS, CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GI bleeding
• Operate unit equipment including IV pumps, bed/chair alarms, drug dispensing cabinets, and defibrillators; document care using Medhost EHR
• Fulfill weekend commitment of 4 shifts per 4-week schedule period
• Float to other units within the facility (IMC, ED) as operationally needed
• Maintain ACLS certification as required for this role

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with minimum ADN education
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with recent acute care background
• Demonstrated telemetry experience and ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a preceptor or in a charge nurse role
• Familiarity with Medhost EHR
• Experience caring for total joint, surgical, and complex chronic condition patient populations
• Compassionate, positive, and adaptable personality with a can-do attitude
