Job Details Job Location: Hartford - HARTFORD, WI 53027 Job Shift: 1st Shift Maintenance General Keep Our Facility Running at Its Best Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and operating smoothly? Join our team as a Maintenance General and play an important role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional work environment. What You'll Do Maintain the cleanliness of production equipment, facility interiors, and exterior grounds. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, mops, and other maintenance tools. Perform painting projects, including walls, safety lines, and floor markings. Complete routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems. Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventories. Assist with facility repairs and general maintenance projects. Replace light bulbs and maintain adequate lighting throughout the facility. Clean windows and other areas to support facility appearance. Remove snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks, entrances, and walkways. Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of general building systems, tools, and safety practices. Good communication and time-management skills. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical labor. Preferred Qualifications Education: N/A Experience and Training: N/A Physical and Mental Demands The employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas. Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Travel: Periodic travel to other plant locations. Occasional domestic travel to attend company-sponsored training programs. Working Environment Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where loud noise exposure is regular and frequent.
