Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients within the Radiation Oncology service, including chemotherapy administration under physician orders.
- Monitor patient status, assess for treatment-related side effects, and respond to adverse reactions per protocol.
- Administer chemotherapy and supportive medications; ensure safe handling, dosing, and disposal in accordance with policy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (physicians, dosimetry, pharmacy, and nursing) to coordinate treatment plans and patient education.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; maintain accurate charting and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain current knowledge of oncology and chemotherapy best practices; participate in ongoing education and quality improvement activities as assigned.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology or Oncology nursing
- Chemotherapy certification and demonstrated ability to administer chemotherapy
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work in a hospital-based travel assignment and adapt to a specialized oncology setting
- Proficiency in chemotherapy safety protocols, patient assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration
