Work Environment\nThis position allows for flexible remote work, enabling you to create a conducive environment for both yourself and your clients. You will primarily deliver services via telehealth modalities, ensuring accessibility and comfort for the individuals you serve. Our outpatient office, when required, offers a collaborative space for team meetings and training sessions, fostering a sense of community among our counselors.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to deeply understand each client's unique concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Remain attuned to clients' progress and modify treatment approaches based on ongoing assessments and feedback. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients in distress, ensuring their safety while effectively managing emergent situations. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate and enhance client care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to both ethical standards and legal requirements for mental health professionals. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to keep abreast of evolving best practices and innovative therapeutic strategies. \n
- Participate in regular team meetings, contributing to discussions on program development, improvement initiatives, and quality assurance measures. \n
The client population you will serve includes individuals, couples, and families facing various emotional and psychological challenges. You may work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Providing compassionate support tailored to each client's background and life circumstances is essential to fostering healing and growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the State of California. \n
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and delivering impactful therapeutic interventions. \n

- A minimum of three (3) years of experience providing counseling services to individuals experiencing emotional challenges, with a strong preference for prior outpatient experience. \n
- Proven ability to employ evidence-based counseling techniques effectively. \n
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous. \n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. \n
- Commitment to maintaining cultural competence and providing inclusive care that acknowledges individual differences. \n
Our full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselors can expect a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 78,000 to 115,000. In addition to a favorable salary, we offer a monthly healthcare stipend to support your health and wellness needs.
