Qualifications:

• Active Social Worker license (as required by state regulations)
• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably with IEP caseloads
• Strong understanding of special education processes and individualized educational programs
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, counseling techniques, and advocacy strategies for students
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and students
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage a small but impactful caseload

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide services aligned with students’ IEP requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings as a collaborative team member
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans to address students’ social, emotional, or behavioral needs
• Serve as a liaison between school staff, families, and external service providers as needed
• Offer counseling and support to students in accordance with individualized education plans
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and district policies
