Our dedication to quality assurance guarantees the consistent delivery of superior products, tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers, with a focus on integrity and innovation.\n\nJob Summary:\n\nBig Brown Fly Ash LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead the overall operations and performance of our Fairfield, TX industrial facility.\n\nReporting directly to the President, the Plant Manager is the senior site leader responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient, compliant, and profitable operation of the facility. This role provides leadership and direction to department leaders and is accountable for overall plant performance, workforce development, financial performance, customer fulfillment, safety, quality, reliability, environmental compliance, and long-term operational success.\n\nThe ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on leader with sound judgment, professionalism, composure under pressure, and the ability to develop leaders, drive accountability, and build a culture of disciplined execution. The Plant Manager must be operationally credible, technologically proficient, financially aware, committed to continuous improvement, and maintain a visible presence throughout the facility.\n\nWork hours may vary significantly based on operational needs and may require early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, outage support, emergency response, or other operational demands necessary leadership, direction, and accountability for plant operations, site performance, and business execution\n\n• Lead, coach, and develop department leaders to align operations with company goals, production requirements, safety expectations, quality standards, and financial objectives\n\n• Establish high standards of professionalism, ownership, communication, documentation, and execution across all plant functions\n\n• Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, innovation, ownership, and disciplined execution\n\n• Maintain a visible field presence to verify execution, support employees, reinforce expectations, and remain engaged with plant operations\n\n• Set clear expectations for department leaders and hold them accountable for execution, communication, documentation, professionalism, leadership, and follow-through\n\n• Promote consistent application of company policies, safety standards, attendance expectations, work quality, and operational standards across all plant functions\n\nOperational & Business Management:\n\n• Accountable for overall plant performance, reliability, profitability, and operational excellence\n\n• Oversee plant operations to deliver objectives while supporting long-term plant performance\n\n• Monitor production flow, equipment performance, process conditions, material movement, product quality, inventory readiness, and loadout capability\n\n• Oversee management of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, finished product inventory, and loadout readiness to support production and customer demand\n\n• Align production planning, inventory availability, and loadout operations with customer commitments and business objectives\n\n• Support startup, shutdown, recovery, outage planning, and business continuity efforts as needed\n\n• Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, resource constraints, and improvement opportunities\n\n• Promote data-driven decision-making aligned with company goals, financial objectives, regulatory obligations, and customer commitments\n\n• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect personnel, equipment, production, product quality, customer commitments, and business continuity\n\nKPI, Budget & Cost Accountability:\n\n• Own and review plant performance metrics, including production output, uptime/downtime, safety, quality, labor address performance gaps, improve reliability, reduce downtime, strengthen execution, and support continuous improvement\n\n• Develop, manage, and monitor the plant operating budget in alignment with company objectives\n\n• Monitor operating expenses, labor utilization, production costs, maintenance-related impacts, resource allocation, and cost control to support financial performance\n\n• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, increase productivity, and optimize utilization of company resources\n\n• Promote responsible stewardship of company assets, equipment, materials, technology, and financial resources\n\n• Support business planning, capital investment decisions, and operational strategy through financial analysis, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making\n\nCross-Functional Leadership & Coordination:\n\n• Provide strategic leadership and direction to department leaders to ensure alignment with company objectives and overall safety awareness, technical competency, and leadership capability\n\n• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, quality, productivity, cost performance, and customer Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or related field preferred\n\n• 10+ years of industrial operations, manufacturing, processing, material handling, power generation, mining, cement, concrete, or similar plant experience preferred\n\n• 5+ years of demonstrated plant leadership or senior operational leadership experience required\n\n• Proven experience leading department managers, supervisors, and cross-functional industrial teams\n\n• Strong understanding of plant operations, production planning, process control, equipment reliability, safety, quality, material handling, and industrial operating discipline\n\n• Strong understanding of productivity improvement, operational efficiency, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies\n\n• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets, operating costs, labor efficiency, resource allocation, and plant performance metrics\n\n• Ability to analyze operational and financial data to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and business decision-making\n\n• Technologically proficient with the ability to quickly learn operational systems, reporting tools, dashboards, process technologies, and business systems\n\n• Strong leadership, communication, judgment, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills\n\n• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders, coach teams, drive accountability, identify performance gaps, solve complex operational challenges, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments\n\n• Ability to make is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards\n\n• Must be able to work varied hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations as operational needs require\n\n• May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery\n\n• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks\n\n•
