Anesthesiologist

Location: Illinois

Schedule: Day shifts. 8 hour shifts required with 10 hour shifts preferred, Monday through Friday. No call. No weekends. Openings: 1

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. This role includes a broad case mix and requires board certification as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

• Medical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4
• Case mix includes general, neuro, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pediatrics
• EMR: Epic
• Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Illinois medical license required to present
• Completion of an approved anesthesia residency

Additional Requirements

• Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Credentialing

• Estimated privileging timeframe is approximately 60 days
• Accelerated privileges may be possible for clean and complete files as outlined in the order details

Incentives and Selling Points

• Completion bonus: $15,000 after 13 weeks and 520 hours worked, as outlined in the order details
