Interventional Radiology Technologist $15,000 Bonus

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Angio Interventionalist to join our healthcare team at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Job Details Entry Rate: $34.06 + experience dependent. Shift: Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible applicants. Relocation assistance available. Essential Functions Maintains up‑to‑date licensure and certifications required for position. Assists as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech according to Angio lab policies. Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares patient for exam. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe work environment. Develops knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, indications and appropriate deployment. Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reports equipment failures. Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns. Maintains accurate records of patient information and procedures performed. Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers after procedure. At procedure end, sutures sheath or removes and applies pressure for hemostasis. Performs advanced interventional procedures including ablation, stents, thrombectomy, embolization. Orients new staff, provides teaching, coaching, mentoring, and supervision as defined preceptor. Proctors other staff in equipment and procedural techniques. Transports patients as needed. Maintains work area and stocks supplies as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience OR Vascular/Interventional radiography certification. Recognizes emergent patient situations and responds appropriately. Functions independently and as part of a team. Communicates effectively with caregivers and patients. Adheres to infection control and sterile techniques. Demonstrated skills in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures. Licenses & Certifications: ARRT - American Registry (required upon hire); BLS (required); ACLS within 120 days for non‑pediatric hospitals; PALS within 120 days for pediatric hospitals; relevant state licensure (required); VIR certification preferred. Physical Requirements Patience reading, interacting, moving patients and supplies. Manual dexterity for complex equipment, frequent computer use, documentation. Ability to lift, transfer, carry supplies up to heavy items and navigate busy rooms. May stand stationary for long periods.
