We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locums Neurosurgeon tojoin a growing neurosurgical program in Carbondale, Illinois. This opportunityoffers a consistent full-time schedule while providing high-qualityneurosurgical care to the surrounding community. Schedule: PRN- As needed Compensation: $4,500 per shift. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive surgical and clinical care for patients with neurological conditions Perform a broad range of neurosurgical procedures with precision and clinical excellence Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases Participate in call coverage as assigned Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in neurosurgery and apply best practices Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents as neede Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program Board Certified in Neurosurgery Active Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain) Strong surgical skills with experience across a wide range of neurosurgical procedures Extras : Generous (above market) hourly rate All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate Med-mal and tail insurance covered Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts Carbondale offers a welcoming community atmosphere with access tooutdoor recreation, regional wineries, and the cultural amenities of auniversity town.
