LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you'll deliver bedside care, administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient status across diverse specialties. You will collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to execute care plans, educate patients and families, and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records. Provide direct bedside nursing care to diverse patient populations Administer medications and treatments under established protocols Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition Support RNs and physicians in implementing care plans Perform basic wound care, specimen collection, and diagnostic prep Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge instructions Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes Support a culture of compassion, diversity, and respect Medication administration Vital signs monitoring Wound care and dressing changes Phlebotomy and specimen collection Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Infection prevention and control Patient and family education Basic life support (BLS) IV therapy and line management Interdisciplinary care coordination Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active LPN license in state of practice BLS/CPR certification IV therapy certification (preferred) Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred) Vaccination and health clearance per state regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr Stryker Corporation
