Conflicts Manager

As of August 21st, a prominent law firm is seeking a Conflicts Manager. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of legal ethics and conflicts partnered with a professional sense of responsibility. The position will involve: Overseeing the prompt evaluation, determination, and resolution of potential conflicts of interests. Advising the Chief Operating Officer, Partners, Associates, Paralegals, and other support staff on related procedures, policies, and best practices. Drafting documents such as waiver agreements, ethical walls, and screening memoranda. Handling risk management initiatives and documenting internal procedures. Supporting lateral attorney and new client onboarding with regard to conflicts matters. Requirements: 5+ years of conflicts or compliance experience in a law firm setting. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish positive rapport with attorneys and firm leadership. Strong research, problem-resolution, and analytical thinking abilities. Well-versed in conflicts best practices and have a proactive work ethic. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lease & LaBau, Inc.
