Housekeeping - Hospital

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our hospital team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital to ensure the comfort and safety of patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and other hospital facilities according to established protocols. Dispose of waste and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly. Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a sterile environment. Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively. Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure patient privacy and comfort during cleaning activities. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
