Chattanooga Family Practice , a division of Summit Medical Group, has an opening for an experienced LPN/CMA/RMA to join our passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals. "It’s not my job" is a phrase you will not hear around here! Responsibilities Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare patients for examinations/procedures according to the provider’s preferences. Record vital signs of patients, including pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, etc. Perform appropriate procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc. Assist physician(s) with procedures, administer medications, and conduct patient education. Handle phone nursing when appropriate, including triaging, pre‑certs, referrals, and calling in prescriptions. Perform clerical duties necessary for the provider to see patients, such as contacting patients regarding test results or other related reasons as directed. Pull and prepare patient records for physicians to treat patients, as needed. If needed, schedule patient appointments with efficient use of clinical time slots. Maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and common work areas daily. Adhere to established company policies and procedures (including the corporate compliance program) and follow state and federal regulations, such as OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Follow site‑specific protocols and expectations. Perform duties professionally while showing courtesy and cooperation toward co‑workers, management, and the public. Perform related work as assigned. Additional vocational or college credits required. Current TN license in Practical Nursing or national certification in Medical Assisting required. Experience Clinical experience required.
