In-Home Caregiver

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
• Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support
• Monitor client's health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (preferred)
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred: Home Health Aides/ CNA

· CNA or HHA license is preferred

· 6 months of experience as a Home Health Aide in healthcare (with references)

· 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)
