The role requires working four 10-hour shifts during the day. The on-call requirement is up to four call shifts every four weeks. Weekend coverage includes working one weekend shift every four weeks. Travelers will be required to work at least one holiday period, such as Christmas or New Year's. Candidates must have experience in scrub and circulating surgical procedures. The unit services a variety of surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, and robotics. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential for patient care. The department emphasizes the utilization of cutting-edge technology. Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Compliance with Hurricane Season protocols is mandatory for all employees and contractors. Lab requirements must be completed promptly as part of the compliance process.
