Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for the management of tire, lubrication and mechanical repair for customer vehicles; leading and managing the flow of service work through the service department ensuring quality repairs are completed. The Service Manager will assist Service Advisors in communicating with customers and manage the parts inventory. Great growth and career opportunities.

Responsibilities include scheduling and assigning repair orders, reviewing quality of workmanship, road testing vehicles, inspecting work, managing shop equipment, managing inventory, managing shop cleanliness, ensuring compliance with quality control, safety, and environmental regulations, inspecting vehicles, managing the departmental financial budget, hiring and supervising service department personnel, and managing the performance of service department personnel.

Desired qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience managing an auto repair store, knowledge of auto/truck repair technology, ASE certification, 2+ years of tire or auto repair management experience, strong communication and management skills, and preferred experience in accounting, inventory management, and payroll.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
