Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create tailored therapy programs that help them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Engaging Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive patient care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to encourage continued progress at home.
• Assess Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor and record clinical developments, making adjustments as necessary to keep patients on their rehabilitation journey.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are welcomed and supported

Certifications

• Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
