Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Operating Room.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a surgical setting.
The nurse will be required to participate in on-call shifts, with call times from 23:00 to 07:00, Monday through Friday, and from 07:00 to 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00 on weekends.
Candidates should be capable of performing a variety of surgical procedures and must adhere to strict infection control protocols.
The nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
The position supports a patient demographic that includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The daily census is between 20-40 patients, and the unit comprises 15 operating rooms.
The nurse is expected to float between different units as needed.
Compliance with all safety and procedural protocols is mandatory.
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient care and advocacy.
All travelers are expected to work flexible hours and participate in all relevant educational modules.
Completion of mandatory training and continuing education requirements is expected.
References covering previous experience are required.
