The role requires a compassionate caregiver dedicated to patient safety and comfort, supporting a busy, multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Job Details Position Description: Emergency Room Nurse at a designated hospital with a 101-bed Emergency Department, serving a diverse, multicultural community. Responsibilities include delivering emergency care, triage, and stabilization for a variety of critical patients. The facility is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring, Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and utilizes Cerner electronic documentation. Required Qualifications: Up-to-date certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC within 90 days of hire. A minimum of 2 years experience working in a Level 2 trauma center or high-volume Emergency Department, with at least 1 year in an ER setting, team-oriented mentality, and ability to adapt across all sections of the ED. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Previous HCA experience, proven teamwork, and leadership skills. Additional Information: The department emphasizes respectful patient interactions, with policies in place for attendance and unit-specific procedures.
