Step into our store and surround yourself with the irresistible scents of hand-mixed spice blends, premium loose-leaf teas, and gourmet seasonings from around the world. As a Sales Associate, you’ll help create a warm, inviting shopping experience while sharing your love of food and flavor. What You’ll Do:
- Welcome every guest with a warm smile and friendly greeting.
- Engage with customers to ask the right questions and make personalized product recommendations.
- Become an expert in our unique spice blends and teas to share product knowledge with confidence.
- Assist with store displays, restocking, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment.
- Cross-train to help with blending and packaging our small-batch gourmet products.
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist General Manager with day-to-day store operations, including delegating jobs to employees & completing projects set forth by the Management team
- Open & close the store, including counting a till & holding keys.
- A passion for food, flavor, and making others feel welcome.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic technology.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to tolerate working in a strongly aromatic workplace.
- A positive attitude and outlook!
