Registered Behavior Technician in Sunnyvale, CA

This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) seeking a full-time school-based role providing one-on-one support to an elementary-aged student in a Mild/Moderate Special Day Class (SDC) setting. Successful candidates will be working 30-32 hours per week throughout the full school year.


Role Details:

• Full-time, full school year position (30-32 hours weekly)
• Work closely with an elementary student in a Mild/Moderate SDC classroom
• Implement ABA strategies and behavior intervention plans under appropriate supervision
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student growth

Qualifications:

• Active, current RBT credential (required)
• Previous experience supporting students in a school setting strongly preferred
• Flexibility to undergo both agency and district-specific fingerprinting and onboarding processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable participating in and commuting for onsite interviews
• Ability to adhere to individualized education and behavior plans
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral intervention and support to students in accordance with prescribed plans
• Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behaviors
• Follow guidance from BCBAs or other supervisory staff regarding student programming
• Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and staff
