Job Overview and Qualifications

This role involves providing leadership that enhances the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients. You will employ the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and their families. Additionally, you will carry out medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications Required:

• Education: Associate’s Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• License: Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing is required. An eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may be applicable; candidates should verify with the NCBON. A Registered Nurse license must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider certification is necessary.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
• Required: Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) designation for Registered Nurses.
