Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with both prescription medications and compounded preparations while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and patient safety. salary: $17 - $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and medication preparation.
• Accurately  pour and measure liquid medications according to prescription and pharmacy procedures.
• Measure, mix, and prepare powders and other medication formulations as directed.
• Accurately count, weigh, measure, and handle medications and ingredients.
• Label prescription containers accurately, including medication, patient, dosage, and auxiliary labels.
• Prepare and package medications for dispensing.
• Enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Assist with insurance processing and resolve routine prescription issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory and properly stock medications and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all pharmacy procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacists, healthcare providers, and coworkers.
