Commissioning Lead - Critical Cooling Systems

Role Description The Commissioning Lead – Critical Cooling Systems role is available as either a salary full-time or casual hourly position and may be based across various project locations depending on assignment. This position is responsible for leading the commissioning of critical mechanical and cooling systems, ensuring successful installation, start-up, testing, validation, and documentation of mission-critical equipment. The Commissioning Lead will oversee and validate commissioning activities for systems including CRAHs, CRACs, compressor chillers, building management systems, programmable logic controllers and their interaction with SCADA, BAS, and DCIM systems, industrial water systems, exhaust fans, and variable frequency drives. The role also includes creating and reviewing commissioning scripts across L0-L6 levels, planning project-specific commissioning schedules, reviewing TAB reports, verifying compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations, and collecting, compiling, and delivering detailed commissioning reports. This position requires close collaboration with clients, project teams, and other stakeholders to align expectations, resolve issues, and ensure systems are commissioned safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience 3–5 years of commissioning or testing experience with mechanical and cooling systems Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and building automation systems Experience with commissioning processes, systems testing, validation, and performance evaluation Familiarity with BMS, PLCs, SCADA, BAS, and DCIM system integration Ability to review and evaluate Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) reports Strong project planning, scheduling, reporting, and documentation skills Excellent communication and client-facing abilities with strong collaboration skills Detail-oriented with strong technical writing and reporting capabilities Experience in data centers or other mission-critical environments is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr DataQuestCX
