Inside Repair Sales RepresentativePosition SummaryPerformance Mechanical Group is seeking an Inside Repair Sales Representative to increase the approval and completion of commercial HVAC and refrigeration repair proposals.This position will take ownership of the repair follow-up process—from proposal submission through customer approval, completion, invoicing, and payment. The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, customer-focused, and comfortable communicating the value and urgency of recommended repairs.Primary ResponsibilitiesFollow up consistently on outstanding repair proposalsPrioritize critical, aging, and high-value opportunitiesExplain the scope, urgency, and value of recommended repairsAnswer customer questions and coordinate technical support when neededBuild relationships with facility managers and customer decision-makersSecure approvals, purchase orders, and required documentationCoordinate approved repairs with the service departmentMaintain accurate quote statuses and follow-up recordsRe-engage customers regarding declined or deferred repairsTrack approval rates, lost-sales reasons, and recurring customer objectionsHelp maintain a consistent and profitable repair backlogQualificationsInside sales, account management, or customer service experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organization and follow-throughAbility to manage a high volume of open proposals and customer interactionsComfortable discussing pricing, urgency, and the value of recommended workAbility to work closely with service managers, technicians, and administrative staffCommercial HVAC, refrigeration, facilities, or mechanical-service experience preferredExperience with CRM, service-management, or proposal-tracking software preferredCompensationBase pay of $25 per hour, approximately $52,000 annuallyPerformance-based commission on eligible repair revenueThe position is expected to earn a minimum of approximately $24,000 in annual commissionEstimated total annual compensation of approximately $76,000, with additional earning potential based on performanceCommission applies only to eligible repair work that has been approved, completed, invoiced, and paid. Preventative maintenance agreements, construction projects, warranty work, callbacks, credits, and no-charge work are excluded. Repairs must meet PMG’s minimum gross-margin requirements unless otherwise approved by the General Manager.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate enjoys building customer relationships, following opportunities through to completion, and producing measurable results.
