Registered Nurse (RN)

This role is for a Registered Nurse on the Comprehensive Medical Unit, working primarily in a night shift capacity with occasional floating between various Med-Surg units. The position requires active participation in a team-oriented environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Shift Information

Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the assigned unit.
Float between various Med-Surg units as necessary, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.
Maintain and enhance proficiency in reading telemetry, with competency testing on the first day of employment.
Utilize Epic EMR efficiently in daily practice.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory; refresher classes or one-on-one assistance are not available.

Unless the RN is a returning travel nurse within the past 9 months, the only start date available is November 16th. This role does not require on-call duty.
