Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hour DOE (Non-Exempt)

About the Role

As a Project Engineer I (Electrical Construction) you will be a part of the Special Projects division, you will assist in supporting project operations and delivery through planning, coordination, and documentation. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to maintain project flow and ensure quality standards. Projects will include existing construction or Tenant Improvement (T.I.) work on corporate offices, tech campuses, hospitals, K-12 schools, institutional, industrial projects, and more. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Obtain required information for materials selection, dimensions, and owner/third-party documentation
• Track jobsite documentation including RFIs, ASIs, and change orders
• Coordinate efforts with other trades and documentation
• Prepare submittals, schedules, and O&M manuals
• Estimate, count, and prepare change orders
• Track QA procedures, logs, and issues
• Attend project meetings as assigned

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:

• High school diploma required
• Two-year college or technical certificate preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, and Smartsheet
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and technical documentation
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability
• Effective communicator in English (written and verbal)

Compensation (Pay Range): $25.00 - $35.00/hour DOE (Non-Exempt)

 

An employee's compensation level within the range will be based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience, relevant education, qualifications, skills, organizational needs, and performance. *Bonus pay based on percentage of salary, adjusted by company and individual performance.
