CDL A Delivery Driver Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license + current DOT Medical Card. FMCSA Clearinghouse registration required. Clean MVR and passable screenings. 1 year of CDL driving experience. No more than 3 combined violations or accidents in 3 years. Sharp on DOT regs, checks, and compliance.

CDL A Delivery Driver Job Duties

Safely operate a Class A day cab with a dry van to complete regional deliveries of general freight and tires. Load, unload, and deliver freight while safely lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 pounds. Inspect the tractor, trailer, and equipment before and after each trip to ensure safe operation. Verify delivery paperwork, secure cargo, and maintain accurate DOT logs and required documentation. Follow assigned routes, meet delivery schedules, and provide professional customer service at each stop. Comply with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies throughout every route.
