Architectural EngineerACME Sheet Metals, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Architectural Engineer to join our team in Box Elder, SD. As an Architectural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural sheet metal products for a variety of projects. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and creating sustainable solutions to meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to design and engineer custom sheet metal products
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing and installation
- Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure product integrity and safety
- Utilize CAD software to develop 2D and 3D models of architectural designs
- Work closely with production teams to oversee the fabrication and assembly processes
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout all project phases
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
- 3+ years of experience in architectural engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
