Director of NPD Marketing

Seeking an experienced Director of NPD Marketing for a 6-week remote contract engagement, this role will manage strategic marketing support for new product development, focusing on positioning, messaging, and creative briefing while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Develop positioning recommendations for emerging products or new category opportunities Create messaging hierarchies and strategic narratives to inform various execution channels Conduct competitive landscape reviews to identify differentiation opportunities Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, innovation marketing, or product marketing Proven ability to develop positioning frameworks and creative briefs for consumer products Strong strategic thinking and ability to synthesize complex inputs into actionable recommendations Experience in wellness, CPG, supplements, or consumer health brands preferred Prior Director-level or senior consultant experience preferred
