Claims Specialist

Serving as a subject matter expert for the ceded reinsurance process, the full-time Claims Ceded Reinsurance Specialist will manage workload, review claims, and oversee access management for the Claims team in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Leads the coding and closeout process, ensuring accuracy in claims with newly established reserves Reviews and validates reinsurance work completed by team members, facilitating final reporting and submissions to brokers Manages reinsurance inquiries by triaging and tracking responses for timely resolution and communication Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in insurance, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience Five years of experience in claims, accounting, data reporting, or related fields Preferred insurance industry experience or certifications (e.g., INS, AIC, CPCU)
