Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, administer treatments, and coordinate care plans to support optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document clinical information accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Ability to work a 7p-7a shift schedule.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• CPR and ACLS certifications preferred.
