Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: General Helper – Chemical Plant Pasadena / Deer Park Area Schedule: Day & Night Shifts Available (including 12-hour rotating shifts) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused General Helper to support blending, batching, and material handling operations in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting with production processes, handling raw materials, and operating forklifts to support daily plant operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with chemical blending and batching processes following batch tickets and SOPs Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials accurately Load and unload materials, including drums, totes, and bags Operate forklift (sit-down and/or stand-up) to move materials safely throughout the facility Perform material transfers using pumps, hoses, and valves Label, package, and stage finished products for shipment Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and LOTO protocols Support inventory control and assist with cycle counts as needed Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Requirements 1+ year of experience in chemical plant, blending, batching, or manufacturing environment preferred Forklift experience required (certification a plus) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Comfortable working with chemicals and following strict safety guidelines Basic math skills for measuring and batching Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, and overtime as needed TWIC card preferred (or ability to obtain) Reliable transportation and strong attendance Company Description ProSource Staffing is a professional staffing agency dedicated to connecting qualified candidates with companies in need of reliable talent.
