Director of Clinical Services

Position Summary

To facilitate, integrate, coordinate, and direct all treatment actions as prescribed in the treatment philosophy, agency goals and objectives for Rosecrance. Provide and monitor continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related health field

• LPHA DMH designation required.

• Licensed in IL as an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or higher

• Minimum of three years’ experience in mental health programing or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience and two years supervisory experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of Mental Health, (i.e., DHS, Rule 132, Benefits and Entitlements).

• Ability to present and coordinate seminars, training and lectures for referral sources and community resources.

• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently, in addition to as a member of an effective development team.

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

Strategic Organizational Development

1. Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs.

2. Directly oversee the treatment program, referral and admission services, evaluation, outpatient and continuing care services and all aspects of their operation.

3. Must be available to respond to emergency situations within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Supervise the Crisis-Residential Mental Health Leadership team, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.

5. Provide administrative supervision, leadership, and development for all service program staff.

6. Develop and integrate new programs. Ensure overall agency compliance with TJC standards and DHS, Medicaid, DCFS and other regulatory regulations and requirements.

7. Prepare, in conjunction with leadership, the annual budget and ensure adherence to established budget through the year.

8. Review and evaluate incidents within the program.

9. Supervise maintenance of client service records.

10. Represent agency to outside organizations.

11. Maintain a reporting procedure for leadership regarding program services and assigned projects and/or other duties.

12. Exhibits actions and makes decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law.

13. Serve as a member of the team, and participate in all team meetings, duties and activities as assigned.

14. Serve as a role model to others and demonstrate excellent company stewardship.

Leadership and Management Responsibilities

1. Understand and adheres to all policies and procedures governed by federal and state guidelines regarding confidentiality and abuse reporting; embraces the Code of Conduct/Ethics policies.

2. Develop and maintain professional and supportive relationships with all staff.

3. Lead creative and innovative solutions to improve performance and enhance clinical competencies.

4. Deliver on-time expectations and constructive feedback to direct staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner; deliver performance feedback on a timely basis.

5. Coordinate the efforts of all program areas within a single vision that advances the vision and mission.

6. Ensure implementation and compliance with regulatory standards for all service standards.

7. Maintain professional licensure and certification, as applicable.

8. Prepares or facilitates grant proposals, requests for funding, contracts, and similar forms of participation with business partners and funding sources.

Community Collaboration

1. Support and promote the vision through participation in community or profession programs and events aligned with or useful to the promotion of the vision, mission, beliefs, and values while promoting a positive image at all times.

2. Network with colleagues in the area on a cooperative and collaborative basis to advance the vision and mission.

  • Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Shift: 1st

Work Location: Rosecrance Mulberry Campus

Work Mode: Onsite

Compensation & Rewards

· Starting Pay: $84,366.24/ year (based on education, experience, and credentials)
