Chemist II

A regulated manufacturing organization is seeking a Chemist II to support quality laboratory operations. This role focuses on analytical testing, documentation, and compliance while contributing to validation efforts and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in - process samples, and finished products Follow GMP and laboratory procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance Document results accurately and support audits and quality reviews Identify and escalate OOS/OOT results and participate in investigations Support method suitability, verification, validation, and transfer activities Assist with stability testing programs and sample management Maintain laboratory equipment, standards, and reagents in a compliant state Contribute to validation activities and cross - functional projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field (Associate's degree with relevant experience considered) 2+ years of experience in an analytical or quality laboratory within a regulated environment Working knowledge of GMP and laboratory documentation practices Experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory software Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; no routine travel Compensation & Benefits $75,000 base salary Comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and paid time off Standard weekday schedule
