Our home-like atmospheres offer a comfortable environment with the security of knowing that exceptional care is being given at all times.Benefits Offered for Full Time Positions:Health insurance with HSA and FSA optionsPaid time offDental insurance401(k)Tuition reimbursementLife insuranceEmployee assistance programReferral programAD&D insuranceResponsibilities:Harrison Senior Living serves meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers etc.Sweep and mop floors as directed.Dishwashing.Return clean utensils to proper storage areas.Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc., as instructed.Assist cook in preparing meals.Distribute and collect menus as necessary.Obtain food supplies for next meal.Assist in checking diet trays before distribution.Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.Serve food in dining room as instructed.Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructedAttend and participate in workshops, seminars, in-service training programs, etc., as directed.Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent.Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion.Ability to perform duties with consideration for residents' rights at all times and demonstrate integrity and discretion in the care of residents and in handling their health information.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility which include a medical and physical examination.Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.***All employees/contractors/interns/volunteers are required to provide our office with proof of COVID vaccination.We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
